Growing up around horses, Corey was always familiar with the sights and sounds of the racetrack. However, it wasn’t until he graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Business Administration that he decided to pursue a career in harness racing. After a brief stint in the business world, Corey reached out to his father, a long-time trainer, for a job in the stables. It was here that Corey discovered his true calling and began to hone his skills as a driver.
Starting out with cheap horses and amateur driving clubs, Corey quickly made a name for himself in the harness racing world. Winning races and catching the eye of trainers, Corey’s talent and passion for the sport propelled him to new heights. From small regional tracks to prestigious venues like The Meadowlands and The Red Mile, Corey’s career as a driver flourished as he continued to rack up wins and gain recognition in the industry.

Balancing the demands of racing with being a present father to his four young children became a top priority for Corey. While he still enjoys the thrill of racing at top tracks, he now prioritizes spending time with his family and nurturing his children’s love for horses.
