Die Pflegestation für wilde Tiere in Düdelingen wurde erweitert.

In 2018, the president of „natur & ëmwelt“, Roby Biwer, noted that the wildlife care center had become a victim of its own success and needed to be expanded. Two years later, in July 2020, the first groundbreaking ceremony took place for the expansion of the wild animal rescue station. This week, on Monday, the new area was officially inaugurated. The site was expanded from 37 acres to 83 acres, providing more space for the dedicated volunteers to care for the animals. Currently, there are around 600 animals under the center’s care.

The expansion of the wildlife care center is a significant milestone in the organization’s efforts to provide a safe haven for injured and orphaned animals. With the increase in space, the volunteers will be able to better accommodate the growing number of animals in need of care. The new facilities include larger enclosures, medical treatment areas, and rehabilitation spaces to ensure that each animal receives the attention and care it requires.

The dedication of the volunteers at the wildlife care center is truly commendable. These individuals selflessly give their time and energy to ensure the well-being of the animals in their care. From feeding and cleaning to providing medical treatment and rehabilitation, the volunteers work tirelessly to give each animal the best possible chance at survival and eventual release back into the wild.

The expansion of the wildlife care center not only benefits the animals but also the local community. By providing a safe haven for injured and orphaned wildlife, the center plays a crucial role in preserving biodiversity and protecting endangered species. Additionally, the center serves as an educational resource for the public, raising awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation and the impact of human activities on natural habitats.

The success of the wildlife care center would not be possible without the support of the community. Through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer work, individuals and organizations come together to ensure the continued operation and success of the center. The expansion of the facilities is a testament to the dedication and commitment of everyone involved in the care and conservation of wildlife.

In conclusion, the expansion of the wildlife care center is a significant step forward in the organization’s mission to provide a safe and nurturing environment for injured and orphaned animals. With the new facilities in place, the volunteers will be able to continue their important work and make a positive impact on the lives of countless animals. The success of the center is a testament to the power of community support and the dedication of those who work tirelessly to protect and preserve wildlife.
