The competition kicked off with a written test focusing on cavy, followed by three showman tests with different species of animals. Contestants were divided into junior, intermediate, and senior categories based on their level of experience. Throughout the competition, participants not only showcased their skills in handling animals but also demonstrated their knowledge of the species by answering questions posed by the judges.

The judges evaluated the contestants based on their performance in each section of the competition and combined their scores to determine the overall winner. In addition to assessing the participants‘ animal handling skills, the judges also paid close attention to their understanding of animal anatomy and behavior. This comprehensive evaluation ensured that the winner truly deserved the title of Showman of Showmen.

After a fierce competition, the results were announced, with Dalton Dudzinski winning in the junior category, Lily England in the intermediate category, and McKenzie Kitchen in the senior category.
