Fish Eating Campaign Conducted at SDN 10 Johar Baru

On Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, a significant event took place at SDN Johar Baru 10 in Central Jakarta. A total of 255 students participated in an „eat fish“ campaign organized by the Central Jakarta Food Security, Maritime, and Agriculture Sub-agency on Wednesday, August 21st. The campaign aimed to promote the consumption of fish among children to improve their nutrition and overall health.

Central Jakarta’s Economy and Development Assistant Secretary, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting, emphasized the importance of the program in enhancing children’s health and growth. He highlighted the nutritional benefits of fish, which is rich in protein and essential for children’s development. Ginting urged parents to incorporate a variety of fish-based dishes into their children’s diets to cater to their tastes and provide them with the necessary nutrients for growth and intelligence.

SDN Johar Baru 10 Headmaster, Suhatna, expressed his appreciation for the campaign and the processed fish food packages distributed to the students. The packages included fishkatsu and presto milkfish, which were well-received by the students. Suhatna noted that the students were enthusiastic about participating in the campaign and trying the fish-based products, indicating a positive response to the initiative.
