Paige Drummond Embraces Her Exciting Role on the Ranch

Paige Drummond, the daughter of Ree and Ladd Drummond, has taken a unique path back to the family ranch in Pawhuska. At 24 years old, she made the decision to leave her corporate job in Dallas and return to work full-time on the ranch. This decision was not taken lightly, as Paige had to adjust to the demanding and physically challenging work that comes with ranch life.

Growing up on the ranch, Paige was no stranger to the daily tasks of straddling and branding calves. However, working on the ranch full-time as an adult presented its own set of challenges. Despite being the only woman in the pens at times, Paige proved herself to be just as capable as the cowboys. Her mother, Ree, attests to Paige’s ability to hold her own and excel in a male-dominated environment.

Paige’s days on the ranch start early, often waking up at 3:30 a.m. to feed the horses and begin her work. From rounding up cattle to vaccinating and branding calves, the work is unrelenting and physically demanding. Ranch life, as Paige describes it, is not always glamorous as portrayed on TV. It involves long hours, hard work, and getting dirty and bruised in the process.

One of the most challenging aspects of ranch life is the lack of breaks and amenities. The cowboys work tirelessly without stopping for snacks or lunch, and bathroom breaks are taken outdoors. Despite the hardships, Paige finds fulfillment in the work and acknowledges the rewarding nature of the profession.

Working for her father, Ladd, adds an extra layer of responsibility for Paige. She feels the need to prove herself and work even harder to earn the respect of her fellow cowboys. Ladd’s work ethic and high expectations push Paige to go above and beyond in her duties on the ranch.

Despite the tough days and physical demands, Paige’s heart remains in the ranch. She is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside her family and carry on the legacy of ranching. While there may be moments of doubt, Paige’s love for the ranch and the sense of fulfillment it brings her outweigh any challenges she may face.

In conclusion, Paige Drummond’s journey back to the family ranch is a testament to her resilience, work ethic, and dedication to preserving her family’s legacy. Her story serves as an inspiration to others who may be considering a similar path, showing that with determination and passion, anything is possible in the world of ranching.
