Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuwangi Membuka Lowongan CPNS, Bupati Menjamin Proses Transparan Berbasis Online menggunakan CAT

Pemkab Banyuwangi recently announced the opening of job opportunities as Civil Servants (ASN). This time, Pemkab Banyuwangi is recruiting 89 prospective Civil Servants (CPNS), consisting of 36 healthcare workers (nakes) and 53 technical personnel.

Banyuwangi Regent, Ipuk Fiestiandani, expressed her invitation to the talented youth of Banyuwangi to join hands in building their beloved region. She emphasized the transparent and accountable nature of the CPNS selection process. The selection is conducted through online tests using computer-assisted testing (CAT) at the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), ensuring that no one can influence the results.

Ipuk firmly stated that there is no room for nepotism or favoritism in the selection process. Everything is transparent due to the CAT-based system. She urged candidates to prepare themselves well and not to trust anyone claiming to guarantee their success in exchange for a fee. Such claims should be reported to the police as they are undoubtedly fraudulent.

In this CPNS recruitment, there is a minimum requirement for a cumulative grade point average (GPA). This year, the minimum GPA is set at 3.25, with the condition that the candidate’s study program is accredited by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT), the Health Education Center (Pusdiknakes), or the Independent Accreditation Agency for Health Higher Education (LAM-PTKes).

The minimum GPA requirement has been in place in Banyuwangi since 2014 for CPNS recruitment. Ipuk mentioned that while GPA is not the sole indicator of a candidate’s quality, it serves as an initial benchmark. She expressed confidence in the ability of Banyuwangi’s youth to meet this requirement based on previous data.

Data from the Civil Service, Education, and Training Agency (BKPP) showed that out of the 935 candidates who passed the CPNS selection in the past two years (2019 and 2021), 684 or 73 percent were local residents of Banyuwangi. This indicates that the majority of successful candidates were from Banyuwangi, showcasing the high academic performance of the region’s youth.

Ipuk further explained that Banyuwangi aims to have highly performing civil servants. The regency requires intellectually capable individuals with strong work ethics to ensure continuous improvement in public services.

Head of BKPP Banyuwangi, Ilzam Nuzuli, added that the CPNS registration process will be open from August 20 to September 6, 2024. For more detailed information, applicants can visit the National Civil Service Agency website at https://sscasn.bkn.go.id.

The Basic Competency Selection (SKD) will take place from October 16 to November 14, 2024, while the Field Competency Selection (SKB) will be held from December 9 to 20, 2024. The age limit for CPNS applicants is between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application, except for medical specialists who can apply up to the age of 40.

In conclusion, the CPNS recruitment in Banyuwangi presents a valuable opportunity for the region’s youth to contribute to the development of their community. The rigorous selection process ensures that only the most qualified candidates are chosen to serve as civil servants, ultimately leading to improved public services and governance in Banyuwangi.
