The Secretary of Berau Regency, Muhammad Said, has announced that the opening of the Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) recruitment in Berau Regency officially began on Monday, August 20, 2024. He expressed optimism that the CPNS recruitment process in Berau will run smoothly. This announcement was based on a letter from the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Number 5419/B-KS.04.01/SD/K/2024 regarding the schedule for the selection of CPNS in the fiscal year 2024.
The decision of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan-RB) Number 293 of 2024 concerning the Determination of Civil Servant Needs in Government Agencies also played a role in this announcement. The schedule provided by BKN serves as a reference for conducting the CPNS recruitment activities in 2024 in Berau.
„We are confident and optimistic that the CPNS recruitment this year can be carried out smoothly in Berau,“ Said stated to TribunKaltim.co in Berau. The Computer Assisted Test (CAT) will be conducted on the second floor of the Berau Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) office, as well as at several other locations. The authorities will strive to ensure the optimal implementation of these tests.
„As in previous years, the CAT test has always been centralized at the BKPSDM office in Berau,“ he added. Furthermore, the Berau Regency government plans to add several computer units for the CAT test to ensure that the process does not take too long. Additionally, stable internet connectivity is also a target to be met.
„We have prepared everything, including the additional computer units and internet connectivity,“ he explained. Moreover, this year’s CPNS recruitment in the region is being reopened after a long hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the Berau Regency government will strive to ensure that the CPNS recruitment runs smoothly, aiming to fill much-needed vacant positions.
