The Ministry of Agriculture has opened registration for the selection of Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) for the year 2024 with a total of 1,127 general positions. Additionally, there are 24 special positions available for top graduates, 25 for people with disabilities, 12 for sons/daughters from Papua, and 24 for sons/daughters from Kalimantan.
According to the official website casn.pertanian.go.id, the Ministry of Agriculture is providing an opportunity for Indonesian citizens who meet the requirements to participate in the CPNS selection process. This is in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Number 293 of 2024 concerning the Determination of Civil Servant Needs in Government Agencies.

The registration process for the CPNS selection in 2024 was announced on August 19, 2024, based on the Letter of the Head of BKN Number 5419/B-KS.04.01/SD/K/2024 dated August 13, 2024, regarding the Schedule of CPNS Selection in 2024 at Central and Regional Institutions.
The registration process through the SSCASN BKN portal started on August 20, 2024, at 17.08.45 WIB until September 6, 2024. Information about available positions, job details, and estimated income can be found on the SSCASN portal under the Information Search menu.
The quota of positions per government institution (Ministry/Agency/Region) will be announced gradually by each institution and can be checked in the information search menu periodically.
The government, through the National Selection Committee (Panselnas), has provided 250,407 CPNS positions for 69 central institutions and 478 regional institutions. Acting Head of BKN Haryomo Dwi Purtanto stated that the CPNS recruitment process will involve various institutions under Panselnas.
To support the selection process, various aspects such as data communication infrastructure by BAKTI Kominfo, technology security by BSSN, technology infrastructure monitoring by BRIN, and the provision of electronic stamps by PERURI will be involved. BKN will also conduct data interoperability for applicants. With population data managed by Dukcapil Kemendagri to ensure the validity of applicant data.
Before starting the registration process, CPNS 2024 applicants are advised to carefully read the requirements and qualifications for the positions as announced by the relevant institutions. Applicants are also recommended to read the Registration Guidebook on the SSCASN Portal before creating an account and registering.
After completing the registration and uploading all required documents, applicants are advised to promptly complete the registration process without waiting until the end of the period to avoid technical issues on the last days of registration.
