Rekrutmen CPNS di Banyuwangi: Seleksi Menggunakan CAT, Tidak Ada Jalan Pintas

Kabupaten Banyuwangi, located in East Java, Indonesia, has recently announced the opening of recruitment for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS). This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 89 CPNS positions, with 36 vacancies for healthcare professionals (nakes) and 53 for technical staff.

Banyuwangi’s Regent, Ipuk Fiestiandani, has extended an invitation to the talented youth of Banyuwangi to join hands in building and developing their beloved region. Emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability in the selection process, Ipuk highlighted that all assessments will be conducted online through Computer Assisted Test (CAT) at the National Civil Service Agency (BKN).

Ipuk firmly stated that there would be no room for favoritism or external influence in the selection process. She warned against individuals claiming to guarantee success in the CPNS recruitment in exchange for payment, urging applicants to report such fraudulent activities to the police.

One of the key requirements for CPNS applicants in Banyuwangi is a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.25 from accredited study programs recognized by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BANPT), Health Education Center (Pusdiknakes), or Independent Accreditation Institute for Health Higher Education (LAM-PTKes).

This GPA threshold is not new to Banyuwangi, as the region has been implementing minimum GPA standards for CPNS recruitment since 2014. Ipuk expressed confidence in the local talent pool, citing data from previous years that indicated a significant number of Banyuwangi youth meeting the GPA criteria.

Statistics from the Civil Service, Education, and Training Agency (BKPP) revealed that out of 935 successful CPNS applicants in the past two recruitment cycles (2019 and 2021), 684 (73%) were local residents of Banyuwangi. This data underscores the high academic caliber of Banyuwangi’s youth population.

Ipuk stressed the importance of recruiting high-performing civil servants to enhance public service delivery in Banyuwangi. In addition to intellectual prowess, she emphasized the need for strong work ethics among CPNS recruits to ensure continuous improvement in public services.

Head of the Civil Service, Education, and Training Agency (BKPP), Ilzam Nuzuli, provided details on the CPNS selection process timeline. Registration for CPNS positions will be open from August 20 to September 6, 2024. Further information can be accessed on the National Civil Service Agency website at https://sscasn.bkn.go.id.

The Basic Competency Test (SKD) will take place from October 16 to November 14, 2024, followed by the Field Competency Test (SKB) from December 9 to 20, 2024. Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application, with exceptions for medical specialists (doctors and dentists) who can apply up to the age of 40.

In conclusion, the CPNS recruitment drive in Banyuwangi presents a valuable opportunity for local talent to contribute to the development of their region. By upholding stringent selection criteria and promoting transparency, Banyuwangi aims to attract skilled individuals who will drive positive change and excellence in public service delivery.
