This Brandenburger dog becomes a TV star

Erik, the four-year-old Eloschaboro from Trebbin, is ready to show off his skills on „Top Dog Germany“ alongside his owner Tiana Mertschuweit. This dynamic duo will be competing in the new season of the action-packed TV show, which is set to air on RTL starting September 6th. Erik is the first of his breed to compete for the title of Germany’s best dog, and Tiana is determined to showcase the talents of Eloschaboros beyond just lounging around.

Eloschaboros are a mix of Bobtail, Chow-Chow, and Eurasier breeds, known for their laid-back nature. However, Erik has recently become more active, prompting Tiana to seize the opportunity and sign them up for the show. Despite their breed’s reputation, Erik has transformed into an energetic bundle of joy, eager to take on new challenges.

In „Top Dog Germany,“ 75 dog owners and their furry companions will navigate through an obstacle course, competing for a chance to win €25,000. The key to success in the show lies in teamwork between the owner and their dog, as they must complete the course quickly and without errors.

Tiana and Erik spent six months preparing for the competition, training in their garden, apartment, and dog parks. They even recreated the show’s obstacles at home, including setting up a ball pit in their living room. From climbing to swimming to fetching, the dogs must showcase a variety of skills to succeed in the competition.

Despite not following a strict training schedule, Tiana and Erik trained based on Erik’s interests and enjoyment. What started as preparation for the show has now become a shared hobby for the duo, strengthening their bond along the way.

As the air date approaches, Tiana and Erik remain tight-lipped about their performance on „Top Dog Germany.“ Viewers can tune in every Friday at 8:15 pm on RTL starting September 6th to see how far this dynamic duo will go in the competition. With their dedication and teamwork, Erik and Tiana are sure to impress the audience and judges alike.

In conclusion, Erik and Tiana’s journey on „Top Dog Germany“ is a testament to the incredible bond between humans and their canine companions. As they showcase the talents of Eloschaboros and compete for the title of Germany’s best dog, they inspire viewers with their dedication, teamwork, and love for each other. Best of luck to Erik and Tiana on their exciting adventure!
