„Wie wilde Tiere“ and „The Dive“: Now in Theaters and Coming to Blu-ray in 2024 from EuroVideo
„Wie wilde Tiere“ (As Bestas) is a Spanish-French thriller drama that is currently playing in German cinemas under the distribution of Prokino. The film, directed by Rodrigo Sorogoyen and co-written with Isabel Peña, made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival last year to critical acclaim. It stars Denis Ménochet and Marina Foïs in the lead roles and has received numerous awards, including Best Film at the 37th Goya Awards. Directed by Maximilian Erlenwein, known for „Stereo,“ the survival thriller stars Sophie Lowe and Louisa Krause and is currently in theaters under Wild Bunch Germany. The Blu-ray release is scheduled for April 18, 2024, also distributed by Alive. The film, a remake of „Breaking Surface – Tödliche Tiefe,“ is expected to feature DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 in both German and English. Like „Wie wilde Tiere,“ „The Dive“ is likely to have no bonus features.
„The Dive“ follows sisters Drew and May, who reunite for an annual dive despite their strained relationship. When May gets trapped underwater after a rockslide, Drew must make life-saving decisions in a desperate situation.
