The victim, identified as Ujang, was lucky to have the community come to his rescue and save him from the ferocious animal.

According to Kasman, a resident of Haur Gajruk Village, the wild boar attacked Ujang while he was hoeing in the rice fields. It is believed that the animal was driven to attack due to starvation caused by the disturbance of its habitat by human activities. With the wild boar population struggling to find food sources, encounters with humans become more frequent and dangerous.

Fortunately, Ujang survived the attack with a wound on his back from the wild boar bite. He was promptly taken to the Cipanas Health Center for medical treatment, ensuring that he received the necessary care after the harrowing experience. However, the incident has left a lasting impact on Ujang and other residents like Udin, who now fear venturing into their gardens for fear of encountering wild boars and monkeys.

Udin, a resident of Rangkasbitung, shared his concerns about the frequent visits of monkeys and wild boars to his garden in the Kadu Guling forest area. These animals not only pose a threat to the residents but also cause damage to crops such as bananas, cassava, and papayas. To protect their gardens, residents have resorted to planting hardy plants like teak, silk, and mahogany to deter the animals from causing further harm.
